ICO is now compiling a special edition book featuring outstanding aquariums of the world. Our book will not only showcase the aquarium's main fish stars, but will also introduce a guide to the aquarium's building facilities and surrounding environment.

This edition will feature only the outstanding aquariums that have been especially selected by our ICO Editorial Staff.

 


International Crerators' Organization is proud to announce that we are now beginning work on our next publication. It is entitled "AQUARIUMS" "WHERE THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD MEET THE CREATURES OF THE OCEAN"

We at ICO are international art book publishers. This time we are planning our first book about world aquariums. Our goal is to introduce the most famous and outstanding aquariums of the world to customers and fans worldwide. We invite you to become a part of our publication.

 

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES - April. 30, 2007 first deadline

Images : Please send your outstanding images to us via non returnable CD along with a printout sample of the images to:

( Indicate No Commercial Value on your postal form to avoid unnecessary import tax. )

For final printing we require:

Please send your featuring material by CD. or DVD media.
* Resolution :
Over 300 dpi. (360dpi, is best)
*The file format : Should be EPS format and CMYK mode.
*Image size : 280 mm X 280 mm (horizontal format)
*Also include sample images :
(For initial layout purposes only the following requirements are sufficient)
a) Please attach sample prints for each images.
b) The sample image Size: 72dpi (RGB mode). (These images need to be at least 28cm. in size, or larger)

Please follow the guidelines below when submitting your materials for our book.

We want our readers to be able to have a good look at your aquarium, your facilities, your activities, and your mission. We ask that you send us the following information to help our readers become better acquainted with you.

1) Your aquarium's name, country, superintendent's name and contact information.
2) Your location map and logo/mark. (It will be featuring as a image directly)
3) Your other facilities; such as restaurant, gift shop, etc..
4) Your aquarium's motto, theme, or mission.
5) An essay by your superintendent, or other qualified person.
5) Please include a portrait photo of the writer of the essay.
6) Your aquarium's special events images if your aquarium is organizing.

7)
We would like to include the strong points or merits of your aquarium in one line.
8)
The visual should be beautiful images.
5)If you have only old image transparencies, it's available to shoot by digital camera
5)as a snap shots. (If it will be high resolution images)
5)In case of using photographer, we can indicate the photographer's name in
5)the index page.

Requirement visual materials are :

a) Externals of aquarium
b) Inside of the aquarium.
c) The aquarium's other facility. (Restaurant, Tea room, etc.)
d) The aquarium's scenery around and spectacle.
e) The essayist's photo. (Or all staff's picture).
f)
The aquarium's logo and mark.
g) Visual map.



The aim of our book is to not only to introduce your beautiful and amazing creatures of the ocean but also to showcase your aquarium's facilities and strong points. These qualities will be a visual link to our other series of books on human environment "Public Art". Please refer to our site to see the book of "Public Art" that we are now compiling.
