Robert grew up in the old whaling town of Cold Spring Harbor, New York, and has been drawing since he was old enough to hold a pencil.

He went on to study painting at The Rhode Island School of Design. His works have garnered him many distinguished awards including, The New York Heckscher Museum Award.

Mr. Roth has illustrated 8 books for children and his paintings have been displayed in NYC. His works are in the permanent collections of many fortune 500 corporations. The New York Times Book Review say's, "Roth'spaintings are a visual treat."
