Bjorn Richter is a fine Art painter, graphic artist, illustrator, sculptor as well as writer and teacher. His visual art as well as sculptural monumental works have found international recognition.

Bjorn Richter is educated and trained in Germany, the USA, Denmark and Norway. His studios and gallery are located in Norway, with forest, fjords, lakes and mountains being his faithful motivators. Although located fairly remote he travels extensively around the world.

Especially Bjorns thought provoking Gouache paintings are highly appreciated by reflective international audiences. As the artist explains: "We can learn to listen to nature by inquiring into our inner landscape, ..What we do to ourselves we do to nature. Lets in a subtle, humble way search for the lost parts of our mind. I believe that common creativity will let things happen and our spirit will grow, as we all need a new global sensitivity. I consider my work a language of signals, a visionary of ideas, a reaching out for the global mind".
