Born,
Boston, Massachusetts, USA 1939... A native New Englander, Mr.Nierman
now makes his home in Plantation, Florida.
He has had the unique opportunity and talent to combine the knowledge
acquired in two related art fields into a successful and personal style
now reaching full maturity. His earliest studies at the Boston Museum
School began at the age of six and continued periodically through 1964.
Along with a solid art and art history background from the University
of Pennsylvania and his many years of practical art schooling, his own
development owes much to an in-depth understanding of past masters.
Beginning in 1961, this was acquired in his profession as a leading
dealer, appraiser and accomplished conservator of antique paintings
from the Renaissance through the 19th century. His years of travel and
intimate contact with the works, methods and styles of the great painters
of the past have led him through an evolution in his own work based
on the most solid influences of art history. He is a widely recognized
art expert, holding the highest level of certification with the Appraisers
Association of America, is affiliated with the International Foundation
For Art Research and is on the Panel of Experts of the American Arbitration
Association.
